Sorry Mack. We are unable to have visitors upload images. However, you could take your picture to an expert for identification. Call your local Extension Office or locate a pest control professional. Either should have someone who can identify your spider.

Can anyone tell me what kind of spider this is. I have attached a picture.

Hi Elizabeth, Without seeing it, I can't say for sure. However, (assuming you live in the U.S.) please check out this following link which may help you identify it: USA Spider Identification Chart.

I killed a spider in my house unlike any I have ever seen. NO charts I've seen as yet have it! It was shiny, not hairy, a little bigger than a dime. Its round domed back was bright orange-red...all of it, not just a spot. Its legs were black and shiny. It was compact, the legs not long like some spiders. WHAT WAS IT please?

I would like to know what kind of spidder I have. It has a cross on it's back. Please reply by email if possible. Thank you.
