You should be able to transplant it to a sunny area where you will not be growing other flowers during the coming year. You will want the hyacinth to go dormant and the constant watering of other flowers will be a problem.
If planted now and allowed to go dormant, it will bloom again next spring.

-- Contributed by: kimI recently bought a white Hyacinthus and the flowers started to turn brown. I noticed that my plant is root bound, so I am going to transplant it in hopes to revive my sweet smelling new plant. Do you have any suggestions on how to bring it back?
-- Contributed by: DorinaHi Ginny, You can plant the hyacinths outdoors after they have bloomed. As for the mums, you can plant them outdoors now, but if you wish to keep them alive year 'round you'll need to bring them back indoors in October when their new flower buds appear.
-- Contributed by: Charlotte GerberI received a purple daisy mum for Easter, can I plant this outside? Will it re-bloom? Will it come back next year or does it only bloom once a year? I think I live in zone 4, Wisconsin. Thank you in advance for any help you can offer me.

-- Contributed by: Charlotte GerberI recently bought a hyacinth, and I want to plant it outdoors as soon as it warms up. Is there a better time to transplant this? It is in full bloom now. I live in Northern Ohio.
Thank you in advance.
-- Contributed by: Sandy HallKristin, it sounds like you have quite a lovely plant. Try using some sticks to support your hyacinths. Gently and loosely tie the plant to the sticks with some yarn or twist-ties
