I bought a pink baby rose from Kroger, I am not sure what kind of rose it is. Should I put it in the ground or leave it in a pot? How should I care for it?
-- Contributed by: KathyHi Linda, I can't say for sure what kind of spiders are on your plants without seeing them. Raid houseplant and garden is usually helpful in getting rid of bugs on your plants. If your rose plants start having some problems that cause the buds to drop, or seem to be suffering any other kind of stress from bugs, contact your local Cooperative Extension office to see if they can identify the bugs on your plants.

Thanks! Being in Northern Michigan (my family of origin hails from the thumb)you will want to be especially careful to watch for blackspot, mildew, and other fungi based diseases. Always water in the morning, try to never wet the leaves and plant in a sunny area and you should have a plethora of beautiful blooms in no time!-- Contributed by: Marye
Thank you, thank you! Everything you need to know about roses (but were afraid to ask) on one page! You've condensed whole books into this concise guide. I really am excited. I live in northern Michigan and I know I can grow roses, but have always been foggy about when to do what. I am ready to begin anew with these wonderful flowers.
