Tanakea Radicans

From LoveToKnow Garden

Tanakea Radicans - A Japanese alpine of dwarf carpeting and creeping habit, this is a recent introduction from Japan. The plant is evergreen, and forms masses of firm leathery leaves from which issue dainty feathery plumes of creamywhite flowers late in spring. Not more than 6 inches in height, it is of easy culture, and growing freely in peat and loam. A good rock garden subject for cool situations.
