Hypoxis

From LoveToKnow Garden

Hypoxis - Low-growing plants, mostly natives of S. Africa. They have grassy foliage and yellow flowers, are tender, but are sometimes planted out in summer, in light, sandy soil, in warm borders. The kinds grown are erecta, elegans, stellata, and villosa.
